Food from the minds of an engineer, programmer, and anyone else who's inclined to use a power drill in the kitchen...

It doesn’t need to be December to drink this mexican rice drink:

  • 1 & 1/3 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Put the rice and 2 cups of water in a blender and blend well. Add the rest of the water and the 2 cinnamon sticks and blend until chopped. Pour into a pitcher to sit overnight in the refrigerator. Strain out the rice and cinnamon and add the rest of the list. Serve over ice while listening to: Horchata by Vampire Weekend.

  1. Nice! That looks very easy. What is the basic flavor of that?

The music was a funny touch. :)

  2. It tastes like cinnamon milk. It’s really good, just make some.

Did you listen to the song? It’s a great song.
